Thank you, parents!
Parental Involvement is the third pillar of the PCA experience. The primary purpose of Parental Involvement is to enhance the educational experience at PCA for students, teachers, and parents by encouraging and developing parent support as well as offering opportunities for fellowship within the school community.
Parent Participation
Parent Participation Policy
Parent involvement is an essential part of a student’s education at Providence Christian Academy. A point system has been established whereby a parent may fulfill his/her annual parent participation requirements of a minimum of 24 points (12 per semester). Both parents are required to fulfill point requirements and log them online separately. Please be aware that some activities are mandatory and the remaining hours can be made up of any activities. Other activities and their respective point values are listed for you to choose from to fulfill your remaining requirements. Volunteer service hours should be recorded on the individual parent portal through RenWeb.
Please note that ANY time you are volunteering, providing assistance to PCA, or attending a PCA event may be recorded as participation.

PCA's Events team will contact you closer to the event date with specific details. We are grateful for the many ways parents and grandparents volunteer to serve our school!
Ongoing Opportunities to Be Involved
PCA moms are invited to join the Monday Morning Praying Moms prayer group to pray for our students, faculty, staff, school, and community. The group meets each Monday at 8:30am in the lobby of the new Allen Academic & Athletic Center. The group will not meet during breaks when school is not in session.
PCA dads are invited to join PCA Praying Dads to pray for PCA students, faculty, staff, families, and our community. Dates for upcoming meetings will be shared in the Lion’s Roar newsletter.
Text the code @dad-pray to 81010 or join the PCA Dad Prayer Group to receive updates on Praying Dads meetings.
If you love to show your appreciation by providing treats for others, we invite you to sign up for our monthly faculty and staff birthday appreciation days. Once a month, we select one day to celebrate all of the teachers and staff who have birthdays during that month. To sign up to earn parent points by baking or providing treats, follow these links:
