Pre-K Program
At Providence Christian Academy’s Pre-Kindergarten Program, we recognize that young children grow and learn rapidly, and we embrace their natural ability to absorb knowledge.
Our program fosters growth in a safe, Christ-centered environment, using hands-on, theme-based learning with age-appropriate activities taught through a biblical lens. Along with an academically rigorous curriculum, we emphasize attentiveness, obedience, manners, love, and respect. Most importantly, we partner with parents to help shape each child’s moral character according to God’s Word.
School of Grammar
In the Grammar School children are nurtured to become lifelong learners and active in their faith through engaging and challenging experiences.
The grammar phase of the classical model, encompassing grades PreK-5, provides students with a strong foundation in phonics and reading through the 95% Group Phonics and Reading Program, as well as essential handwriting and spelling skills. As students progress, they are introduced to great stories in literature, with teachers reading aloud and exploring the classics together. Biblical integration is at the heart of what we do, with teachers weaving God’s word into every subject—History, Science, Math, Grammar, Art, Music, and Literature. We approach History as "His story," showing students how the people of the Bible fit into the broader timeline of world events. Our team is deeply committed to the spiritual and academic development of each student and is grateful for the opportunity to partner with parents in the Classical Christian model.
School of Logic
In the Logic school (grades 6-8), students build on their knowledge by focusing on critical and analytical thinking, asking "how" and "why" questions to understand the world and their role in it.
We help them see their purpose in Christ and His work in all things. They take an informal logic class on fallacies, engage in debate, and continue Bible training with exegesis. Latin study deepens their understanding of language and God's role as the God Who speaks. Leadership opportunities arise through the Logic Senate and Junior Beta Club, while Fine Arts expand to include Band, Chorus, Theater, Visual Arts. Middle School athletics compete as part of the TIAA
School of Rhetoric
The School of Rhetoric at Providence Christian Academy (PCA) serves grades 9-12, following the Classical Model used throughout the academy.
This approach prepares students for college while fostering their faith in Christ and equipping them to impact their communities for the Gospel. In addition to a strong academic curriculum, PCA offers Fine and Performing Arts, TSSAA athletics, student council, National Honor Society, clubs, and a student-led house system. Students learn to communicate effectively, think critically, and lead with humility. A key feature is the advisory program, where teachers mentor students in their academic, social, and spiritual growth. PCA’s focus on relationships ensures every student is known and valued. We invite you to partner with us in your child’s education.
